Please read these Terms and Conditions carefully before using the ProxiKin™ app or any associated services. These Terms govern your access to and use of ProxiKin™ and form a legally binding agreement between you and Cogent Network LLC.
Section 1
By using the ProxiKin™ app, you agree to these Terms. If you do not agree, do not use the app.
Section 2
ProxiKin™ is a care coordination platform. It enables trained ProxiKin coordinators to conduct home safety assessments, schedule visits, record observations, and communicate with family members. ProxiKin™ is not a medical service and does not provide medical advice, diagnosis, or treatment.
Section 3
In any life-threatening situation, always call emergency services (112 in India) first. ProxiKin™ coordinators and the app are not a substitute for emergency medical response.
Section 4
ProxiKin coordinators operate under a Code of Conduct and scope-of-service agreement. They are care coordinators, not medical professionals. They do not diagnose, treat, prescribe, or sign medical or legal documents on behalf of the elder or family.
Section 5
You are responsible for ensuring that the information you provide — including the elder's health history, medications, and emergency contacts — is accurate and kept up to date. ProxiKin™ relies on this information to deliver its services safely and effectively.
Section 6
ProxiKin™, Kinetic Oversight™, and all associated materials are the intellectual property of Cogent Network LLC. You may not reproduce, resell, or redistribute any part of the platform without written permission.
Section 7
To the maximum extent permitted by law, we are not liable for any indirect, incidental, or consequential damages arising from use of the app or ProxiKin™ services.
Section 8
These Terms are governed by applicable laws of India where services are delivered.
